Is posting on nautic.lu really free?
Yes. Posting a listing, uploading photos, searching and getting in touch are all completely free — for private sellers and for businesses. No base fee, no commission, no premium tier, no payment details. We never ask for money at any point.
Do I need an account to post a listing?
No. You can post without registering. After submitting you receive an e-mail with a personal link that lets you change or delete the listing at any time. An account is only worth it if you manage several listings or want to save favourites.
What area does nautic.lu cover?
The focus is the Moselle between Apach and Wasserbillig and the whole Grand Duchy. Listings and river information from the border region belong to it too: the German Moselle down to Koblenz, the Saar, the French Moselle up to Thionville, and the Sûre and the Our.
May I anchor on the Moselle?
As a rule, no. The Moselle is a canalised waterway for large vessels; anchoring and lying still outside the officially designated berths is not permitted. Use harbours, landing stages and marked berths — the cruising map shows which they are.
How many locks are there between Apach and Koblenz?
Thirteen: Apach in France, Stadtbredimus and Grevenmacher in Luxembourg, and ten on German territory down to Koblenz. The large chambers measure 170 by 12 metres, the leisure-craft locks 18 by 3.30 metres with a maximum draught of 1.50 metres.
