On the Luxembourg side there is exactly one genuine marina: Schwebsange at Moselle km 237.5. Everything else is municipal landing stages, often without power or water.
Because demand clearly exceeds supply, it is worth looking across the river: several German harbours lie within comfortable reach.
What to settle about the berth
- Maximum length, beam and draught of the box — box size is not boat size
- Whether power and water are at the pontoon and how they are billed
- Crane, slipway and winter storage: included in the price or extra
- Whether the berth is transferable if you later sell the boat
- Notice period and what applies during floods
