For the Rhine, the canals and the Elbe we give stage values and the official waterway-class limits; the details belong to the ELWIS charts of those waterways.

Koblenz is the Moselle’s grand finale: at the Deutsches Eck it flows into the Rhine, overlooked by Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with its cable car floating across the river. Mooring here puts you at one of Europe’s most striking river junctions.
The last Moselle kilometres are pure commercial navigation, and traffic thickens at the confluence — city berths are in demand, so sort yours early. From the confluence, Rhine rules apply; to continue, plan with the Kaub gauge and the regulations of the new waterway.
